Homecoming (08.04.2021)

Last night, I was a little bit melancholy, watching the birds all flying south amidst the rapidly darkening sky, but then we got an absolutely killer thunderstorm out of it, near constant lightning strikes so close and constant that it was almost like daylight and the streets turning into an instant river, it was pretty rad. All gone by morning. Gosh I love summer.

Mom has seemed extra nice over the last day or so, I suspect we're both rattled from the fight, but true to our repressed asses, neither one of us will say shit about shit and we're just ignoring that it happened, I guess! Still, had a nice supper at the Fish Place and showed her the joys of my Shudder account.

I wanted to get to tags tonight now that I'm off shift, but I've got a dentist appointment tomorrow afternoon and I'm nervous as fuck and can't seem to focus on anything but the frivolous for more than two minutes at a time, so. Hopefully that will go well! Or at least not disastrously!

Frivolous shit, though? Got plenty of that! Dynamite this week was A RIDE, and I have Hangman/Elite/Dark Order feelings to VENT.
