Chapter 90 reread: I love how Mob is just 'Ritsu's brother' to Shou. XD
Dimple and Mob taking turns saving each other;;

Mob was trying to calmly talk to Suzuki but then he talked down to Shou and that made Mob go to 77%. And Shou's face when he realized Mob was getting mad for him. Shou tried to jump in to help Mob but got smacked down. 😭
Reigen also tried to help but failed and got attacked, but Serizawa saved him! Aaand Mob reached 100%. Wait, has Reigen never seen him at that point?

(Re)watched ep. 3-4 of Fairy Ranmaru! Finished season 4/part 2 of Dr. Stone, I'm not too far ahead of this in the manga! Watched ep. 6-9 of Cardfight Vanguard!!! 
Episode 10: Just casually shooting up Suika like that. 😭
So it's been 100 days since they took Xeno. And of course his first words (well, spoken anyway) to Stanley were questioning if he was slacking off lmao
Suika girl you really need a backup pair of glasses.
Xeno blames the higher-ups for not accepting his science inventions who instead sought 'power and conflict' but weren't all this inventions weapons of war?? Or did I misunderstand and he was forced down that path.
Stanley had the chance to shoot the last revival fluid but realized that Senkuu would revive Xeno again, and Xeno would get to continue making things with someone who understood him more than even him perhaps. The flashback to little Stanley watching little Xeno do science was sweet. It's clear that it was the boy who was passionate about all these things he was most interested in, not just what he could do.
I got chills as everyone turned to stone and then the little doggy and boar came along. 😭 And that poor cheetah got quite the fright!
Suika was way too young to be left alone like this ughh I know there was very little choice in the end but aHH.
Episode 11: Suika hugging Kohaku's statue 😭😭😭 She's the bravest little girl ever. Ughh my watery eyes.
Episode 12: Thinking about it, Suika is older than Mirai now.
I wonder why Senkuu decided to wait and revive them all at once instead of as he made the liquid? Honestly though I really like that he waited so everyone could reunite at once after that traumatic experience.

Episode 6: Morikawa takes Aichi along to another card shop called PSY that only shows itself for certain people and encourages him to join a tournament. A girl gets in his face and stares at him. 😅
Then a really tall woman with a funky hairdo challenges him to a duel. ...I kinda want to try that hairstyle just for fun.
A card shop run by all-women is cool. And while Aichi lost, he got a new card and learned a lot!
Episode 7: Morikawa vs Kamui, the latter of course won. Aichi gets pressured to follow Kai by Kamui along with Miwa who want to see where he lives. He catches them and is naturally unhappy, Aichi took the wrap and asked Kai to tell him his situation if he wins, but Kai says he isn't ready and to stay out of his business. "If I want you to know then I'll tell you."
Kai vs Kamui, Kai wins though Kamui lasted a while. Before Kai leaves, Aichi promises to faces him someday.

Morbid question, but let's be serious here: If you were trapped in a house with nothing to eat but your recently deceased pet, wouldn't you at least think about it?

And this will generate a burst of absolutely, frustratingly useless nonsense, because people just do not know how they talk. They don't know how they talk, they can't analyze their phonetics on the fly, and they are staggeringly unaware of these facts.
I keep telling these people to go to /r/linguistics instead, but thus far, nobody has taken my advice. Which is a pity, because I do give excellent advice, especially in this case.

Sure, you've been doing it since you were a toddler (probably?), but that doesn't mean you have any understanding at all of what the hell you're doing as you propel yourself from place to place. Well, it wouldn't be in summer, too hot everywhere. Spring or Autumn. Italy, London, Paris, Argentina. I'm not what you'd call an adventurous traveler.

All the pasta in the world. Paris bread and pastries.
3. What landmarks would you be sure you got to see?
I want to see the Giotto murals, real badly. Just walking around London, theatre, museums.
4. What airline would you use?
Probably not an American one. Since this is a dream trip, I'm also flying in the first class.
5. Would your knowledge of other languages influence where you went? (i.e., would you be more likely to go to France if you spoke French?)
I know a little French, and I'd quick study some Italian if I'm going.

Dangerous Animals ('25): It might seem heavy-handed to some, like the part where she makes a joke that the worst spot on a dick is the man(?), and the part where the shark didn't attack her for some reason but then attacked the bad guy, but IDC, she and her boyfriend survived and that's more than most shark movies. If you didn't guess, the dangerous animals in question turned out to be men, not sharks. I'm not going to rate it because I skimmed some parts (like the part where she did things to her thumb to escape the cuff, ick). Honestly I'm not sure I was in the mood to watch this and that's why I skipped through.
Thirteen Lives ('22): The movie adaptation for the Thai cave rescue. I don't remember feeling so uncomfortable for the water scenes in the mini-series, I actually had to skip through most of them because they were too claustrophobic. It showed the Seal's death in explicit detail, too. The mini-series definitely fleshes out the characters more, especially the Thai ones but this adaptation had a lot of tension and fleshing out of the non-Thai characters. The boys are barely shown in the movie adaptation whereas we follow them a lot in the mini-series. I just found that while this was in production, another movie adaptation of the rescue came out and now I'm curious (it's higher rated, too). That's three adaptations! 2/5
A Perfect Getaway ('09): Multiple red herrings and a mid-movie twist. I skimmed because I'm so frickin' tired I can't handle too much tension, so I'll keep it on my PTW.
booksmart ('19): Some scenes really made me laugh, some made me WTF and others made me think. I'm glad I watched it! 4/5 stars
Lady Bird ('17): So this came out 2 years before booksmart, I didn't realize Beanie Feldstein was a main character in them both. I ended up having to DNF a third of the way through, I just wasn't connecting enough. I do relate to the resentment and even self-harm that resulted from it that Lady Bird was feeling towards her mom.
Before I say anything, A would like you to know how extremely annoying it is that they played those "Arabian Nights" riffs every time the snake (Barry) appeared, and it would be annoying even if the plot ( Read more... )

So it's Friday and seems like Monday, so I'll be confused for a few days. Tomorrow's Saturday, right? I'll be reassuring myself several times, I'm sure.
I was going to stream some movies on Christmas but I never got around to it. Insomnia, slept the morning away, made bread 'cause I was out. And…it was too late and I was tired.
I saw two wren-like birds taking baths in rain puddles today. Cute. I put seeds and sunflower seeds in the backyard. I notice the squirrels hog the sunflowers. Everybody's gotta eat.
The fire alarm started beeping on Christmas night. I'd already had my holiday bourbon and soda so climbing up to disengage it was…ha, ha, fun.
