re: Parental Similarities

It's not much, but there was definitely a slight lightening of the darkness in the distance on my way to work this morning, somewhere off to the left of the blood-red sliver of moon. There's still a lot of winter left, but the temperatures remain mild and the end is out there... somewhere.

Mentioned the litany of physical symptoms I've been plagued by for the last week to my mom, and listing them out actually made me feel a lot better about them all probably just being brought on by the inexplicable "I'm going to die" anxiety as opposed to actual signs of imminent death. But wherefore the anxiety? That, I don't know. I really do think the tinnitus might have just finally driven me mad, so I'll probably head to the walk-in clinic that is somehow the only reliable doctor's office in town on Wednesday and see if they have any solutions for that. Maybe I've just had an ear infection for like a year and that's somehow why my arm keeps going numb, who the hell knows?

Slept better last night. Did not eat a 2000+ calorie supper last night, I'm sure these things are not related. Also watched a pretty shitty episode of Queer Eye, listened to some Sinéad O'Connor, and ugly cried over Rilla of Ingleside. ( spoilers for a 104-year-old book for children )

6. How Are You and Your Parents Alike and Different?

Both pretty smart I think, but about very different things.
