Jan. 8th, 2025 08:40 amSunset and sunrise have finally eked past the 9am/4pm thresholds and the temperature tipped above freezing just in time for my return to work. I'm still a ways away from seeing any light outside of work hours, but the end is starting to feel within reach!
Mom is off to Edmonton for a nebulous amount of weeks to FINALLY get her damn radiation follow-ups after many months of setbacks. Hopefully it won't be too miserable for her, being stuck with the aunties and their nightmare dog with nothing to do for that long.
28. Is It O.K. to Use Family Connections to Get a Job?
Yes, of course. I find families who don't help each other however they can to be weird as hell, and if it's a really well-paying job, I'll probably hate you regardless of how you got it.
