BABY'S FIRST WORK TRIP: DAY 2

My first full day of training is in the can! It was still fairly short, because the main warranty admin I'll be really digging in with starting tomorrow had an appointment and my designated ride back to the hotel went home at 3:30, but I finished up with the woman who was showing me some basic booking and went over the basic warranty submission workflow with one of the assistants. I'm still wary about what sort of offers/expectations will be waiting for me when I get back home, but as for the actual training, I'm starting to feel pretty okay about it all. I think this is work I could be good at! Again, as long as they're not expecting me to work regular 9-5 hours, especially if that involves them pushing out the girl who's been doing it for years, which I'm beginning to suspect might be the plan, since apparently my leaving was supposed to be kept on the downlow? God, I hate the stupid drama of that place.

Had a very nice lunch with my trainer at a place that very clearly used to be a Boston Pizza. Movie time soon. It's a crisp, brilliantly blue fall day. The sun done comed up and dried up all the snow, at least for now.
