re: Field Trips
Aug. 13th, 2024 10:38 amLAST DAY. Mostly just keeping quiet and hoping nobody thinks to push the Calgary training thing further just yet because I got shit going on. It has been a full week and I have yet to exchange words beyond 'good morning' and 'bye' with my new manager. He kinda looks like Brandon Cutler.
But mom saw a doctor! And now she's having surgery on the 23rd! I deeply suspect nobody outside of her clinic doctor here in town (who pushed to get this earlier appointment in the first place) realized the scope of just how BIG this tumour has gotten so quickly, despite this being the second verse, same as the first and her telling them repeatedly and being in constant pain as it sticks out of her side and pushes into her ribs. Just one of the many little joys of living 400km from proper civilization, I guess!

5. What Was Your Favorite Field Trip?
Do band trips count? Because actual field trips, where you go out with your class to actually learn something, were never really a thing for us? Are they actually a thing elsewhere? Whatever, band trips count because I say so, and whichever year it was that we got the two-floor party hotel suite is definitely the standout all these decades later.
Oh shoot, I forgot there was a planned power outage at home today, I should have turned my computers off.
