Aug. 14th, 2024 07:42 pmHad a great night's sleep and a solid breakfast, watched some TV, did some laundry, hung out with mom, waited for thunderstorms that have yet to manifest. A lovely first day off, overall! Took a nap, read a bit, put the Monterey Bay Aquarium sea otter cam up on my spare screen, waiting for night to fall now. Looking forward to watching Dynamite and doing my nails. Maybe I'll fit a bath in there somewhere.
A 34-inch computer screen is... so much larger than I was prepared for, you guys. It's beautiful and ridiculous. I think I need to redownload all my Dragon Age mods, though, ugh.
6. Are You Hopeful About the Future?
I thought really hard about how to answer this in a less doomery way than the hard 'nope' that was my gut instinct, and the best I can come up with is 'on a long enough time frame'.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to listen to a Britney Spears album and put together a treadmill.
