Sitting around, waiting for the painkillers to kick in, quietly willing the sun not to set. It'll listen for a few more hours, at least. Skipped my usual sunbathing in favour of water bathing since my period is starting, and then mom came home with pizza to stave off the frustration of waiting on doctors. Biopsy and scan results are in, but it'll still be another twenty days before she gets a lousy phone appointment with an oncologist to discuss options. She got a call at the last minute from her coordinator, though, who said that since it looks like a recurrence of the previous cancer in her lymph node and not something fresh, they'll probably just skip straight to surgery this time? Fingers fuckin' crossed.
For now, though, waiting. Come on, drugs, do your thing. I may need to find more.
