re: Family Pressures

Light! Glorious light! Not a lot of it yet, but my morning walk is now set JUST before the sun rises so it's actually like walking to work in the morning instead of the middle of the night! What a difference it makes! It's still pitch dark when I leave work, of course, but that will change, too, in time. And the moon's been very pretty for the last week or so, that sharp, bright, whitest of whites against the blackest of blacks, so that's nice.

The vibes at work remain... bad. There's some sort of civil war going on between the managers and advisors, with some of them trying to push out one of the assistant service managers and the others rallying behind her and corporate coming up from Calgary and interviewing people as some part of the coup??? As with all workplace drama, I am studiously just keeping the fuck out of it. I have worked here for far longer than all of these people and they all get paid so much more than me, I do not care.

Was crazy tired last night, so was able to fall asleep very early! Almost seven whole hours of sleep! Finished What If...?, which means it is finally Echo time. Sendai Girls (among others) coming to Wrestle Universe is very exciting. Really hope Hangman's ankle isn't broken. Day two of seven and I still have lots in my RSS reader to peruse, let's go.

Not really! My family has always been very supportive of my various mediocrities.
