re: Funding to Create

TUESDAY. GLORY OF GLORIES. My trainee (who was, despite all of my whining, very good and attentive and a friendly, easy learner) is taking today off before her first proper set starts tomorrow, so I have a much needed recovery day to end the work week on, even if I spent the first three hours of it scanning and filing shit. I'm just glad not to have the burden of other people hanging over me anymore, everything is just so much... lighter. Even if general morale here is currently... very bad? It's very bad! There has been a TON of upheaval in the last couple of weeks, people's jobs getting shuffled around and people being let go and a corporate oversight breathing down everyone's necks and there have been multiple public meltdowns and I'm just... here! Doing my thing! Need to keep my job to pay for my various upcoming vacations so can everything please just calm down for a bit!! At least I pieced together the full picture of exactly what happened to the previous B-shift cashier, since I don't ask about gossip as a rule and everyone just assumes I somehow know about all the drama that happens when I'm not around for some reason.

Nine hours to freedom. I'm going to get home and hit the treadmill for like an hour and do some yoga and take a nice hot bath and watch wrestling until I pass out and it's gonna RULE.
