re: holiday moods

That final morning alarm hitting and having to roll out of bed right in the middle of a dream/REM cycle is the closest feeling to actual psychic damage that I think exists, fuckin' OOG. Fun dream, at least? Should have just gotten up earlier to watch Lower Decks, damn it, since my night was taken up with exercise and Grand Slam and eating delicious fried chicken. I think I might have been really gnawing on the inside of my cheek during my sleep or something, though? It's a bit of a mangled mess right now!

Grand Slam opened and ended real #neckstrong, even if knowing about the injuries beforehand put a bit of a damper on the night; that Mox/Fenix match in particular was a rooooooough watch, since I went into it looking for where he could have gotten rocked and then clearly saw it happen on that one dive BEFORE THE MATCH EVEN FUCKING STARTED. MAN WRESTLED AN ENTIRE FUCKING TITLE MATCH WITH A CONCUSSION, NO FUCKING WONDER THE ENDING GOT BOTCHED (though I do think that was probably all on Knox, admittedly). WRESTLERS CARE MORE ABOUT YOUR PHYSICAL WELL-BEING CHALLENGE, GET BETTER SOON MOX, I AM STILL VERY HAPPY FOR MY MEXICAN KITTYCAT MAN OF A NEW CHAMP THOUGH. Hopefully I can get a torrent for Rampage quickly enough tonight, otherwise I probably won't get to watch it until Sunday, and while I could just look up spoilers for the taping now, I'd rather organically find out whether or not I need to riot over the Hungbucks losing.

I don't think anybody's been watering my poinsettia during my weeks off, but it perks up pretty quickly after I get back, which is nice.

Zombies, Run! season 2 relisten hit a bit of a wall when I got to one of the episodes that I deleted my run logs for in an attempt to unlock more S2 radio clips on the old app, so I'm gonna try to go for a walk on my lunch break to knock that one out. At least it's not as cold as it was yesterday!

5. Do the holidays affect your mood?

I guess it depends on the holiday! This question was originally from December, so I'm guessing they mean Christmas, in which case, yes! They stress me out incessantly and I kinda hate the entire season a little bit more every year! I think it's part of why people taking all their shit down IMMEDIATELY after Christmas pisses me off so much, IT'S STILL CHRISTMAS UNTIL JANUARY 6TH AND IT'S THE ONLY ENJOYABLE PART OF THE SEASON, FUCKING ENJOY THE PEACE, PEOPLE. Let's see how my new exercise mood (and a sweet-ass vacation) carries me through the winter this year!

Okay I think that's it for today. Time to fuck around in Notion for the next eleven hours! And do a bit of work before the weekend hits, I guess.
