[0076] and the cities of Europe have burned before, and they may yet burn again

ALMOST DONE. The snow has finally stopped in anticipation of my imminent week of freedom! The wind has blown it all into fucked-up thigh-high dunes between patches of bare sidewalk, though, so it's still a goddamn adventure to walk in, but whatever! Soon it will matter not!

My mom gave me her old Chromecast so I can watch the Wrestle Universe app on my TV, which is real cool and makes me feel better about sticking with that particular subscription post-three-free-month-period.

Whenever I see people talking about stationery, I desperately wish I could keep up any sort of physical journaling habit all over again. Why do blank pages leave me so uninspired, but fucking screens make me want to put everything down???

I want wings.

11. How many cars does your household own?

We're back up to two now that my brother is a motorist. His aging little SUV that his dad bought him, and my mom's Jeep that I cosigned on for her. Both black, both very nice but very boring. Thank goodness we have a big parking lot.

12. What do you wish you’d spent more time doing five years ago?

Five years is such a weird time frame for this question, especially given all the shit that's gone down in the last five years. What COULD I have spent more time doing five years ago? Packing up 20+ years of family belongings better in anticipation of a surprise move?

I usually save these for my weeks off, but sometimes you just get off work and want to sit in the dark and listen to extremely British political rallying cries.
