re: Food exhaustion
Apr. 10th, 2022 10:11 amHOLY WINTER WONDERLAND, WHAT THE HELL. I knew we had at least one more squall slated with everyone almost melted, because there's always at least one more, but GODDAMN I did not expect it to be this dramatic!! It snowed pretty steadily most of yesterday, big fluffy clumps, but it stayed warm enough that there wasn't much in the way of accumulation, just... wetness. Then the sun went down and it was GAME FUCKING ON, I guess.
After work, first I went over to my mom's office at the other end of town so I could take a hot shower and actually wash my hair as opposed to getting in and out of a room temperate spray as quickly as possible, then we went to the movies (Everything Everywhere All at Once truly lived up to the frankly ridiculous hype) and it was windy and still super snowy, but not all that different from how it had looked all day.
AND THEN WE GOT OUT TWO HOURS LATER AND THERE WAS SIX INCHES ON THE GROUND. AND IT HASN'T STOPPED SINCE. IT'S ALMOST UP TO MY KNEES OUT THERE. I'm so glad it's Sunday and quiet at work, even if it means mournfully staring out at all the crisp, overwhelming whiteness out there. I wanna roll around in it so bad. It's so THICK and FLUFFY.
Also I really want to order lunch but would feel bad because the roads are insanely treacherous and I would feel bad? I don't want someone to go into a ditch to bring me something from the mall food court! But also it's a living, I guess???
10. Are there any foods you never get tired of?
So many! Pretty much anything I like, really! I will happily eat the same things day after day after day and generally only switch it up because there are so many other things I like and I also want to eat those! This is also where my binge eating issues stem from, probably!
how does it keep getting brighter and whiter out there
