Feb. 23rd, 2022 12:44 pmA bitterly cold, very bloody walk to work made infinitely more bearable by the accompanying LIGHT. A beautiful, stripey pink and yellow and purple sunrise was my companion and while everything about the experience was otherwise miserable by every conceivable objective metric, gosh just having that visual confirmation that I'm truly on the back half of winter lightens so very much of the load.
23. What's the longest distance you've walked in one go?
Hmm. I think once I walked to school from work when I was at Merc and AMP respectively, and plugging those addresses into Google tells me that's about 7km? Which isn't a terrible distance, but a lot of it was uphill, so it did take a couple of hours.
Desperately just want to go home and order pizza before Dynamite, it's all I can think about. Why must the days be so long.
