re: Time Management
Apr. 4th, 2025 08:23 amDay 3! Looking forward to the weekend! But not as much as I'm looking forward to the one three weeks after this one, for which I have successfully booked bus tickets to Edmonton and bought a whole bunch of movie tickets. All that's left is to decide if I want to try and impose on my aunt and her hell dog for a place to crash, or if I'm willing to drop $500 for a room at the nearby Holiday Inn. It's not like I've got any other trips to save up for in the immediate future? The peace might be worth it? I will continue to mull it over.
Another chilly day, but at least the sidewalks are clear and I'm able to cross the field on my way home, significantly shortening the journey once again because the snow is no longer thigh-high. Just ankle-high!
Last night's noodles were delicious, the random Spanish pop album I put on was enjoyable, and the episode of Enterprise I watched was perfectly serviceable, even if that season three retooling of the opening theme makes me want to die. And I pulled another Night Wanderer art card! I crashed early and slept... oddly, in a series of one-hour chunks punctuated by some wild-ass dreams. I think I got a decent six hours or so in total, though.
Every day can be a good mail day when you spend beyond your means! Yesterday I got an issue of the Onion and couple of new Criterion discs (Lost Highway, which I will be getting to see in a theatre later this month, and Perfect Days, which I saw in Quebec City with French subtitles and absolutely adored). What will there be when I get home today???
Also hit up the GOG spring sale for round three, lured in once again by a super cheap Soul Reaver. At least now I can finally play Disco Elysium (you weebs).
2. How Good Are You at Time Management?
Mmm, I don't think I'm necessarily bad at it, I just... wish to do way more than there exists time for, so I never feel like I'm using it adequately, either.
