The little sidewalk plows have been out and about, so the walk to work wasn't nearly as fraught and strenuous as the last few, but it was -35 degrees out, so it still fucking sucked a whole lot. LAST DAY, THOUGH. Tonight I get to sleeeeeeeeeep.

Convinced mom to go see the Monday Mystery Movie without me, which got both her a nice night out (it was The Fire Inside! I was worried it was going to be the religious doomsday prepper one) and me an hour with the house to myself when I got home from work. Win/win! I made perogies and watched TV, it was great. And then I listened to a really cool jazzish flute album and slept EARLY.

I guess I need to start checking the mail again, too. Christ was a shitshow that whole strike was/is. Just stringing everyone along for four weeks while all the disgusting corporate-driven newspapers in the country disparage the strikers and Canada Post in general until finally just saying 'fuck y'all, back to work'. DELIVERING THE MAIL SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BE PROFITABLE. IT SHOULD JUST BE A FUCKING SERVICE. I HATE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS.
