re: Tech Toys
Nov. 2nd, 2024 11:16 amMade it to the weekend! There was a light dusting of snow on the ground this morning, but still a pretty relaxed pre-winter season all around. But also still enough for everybody to be losing their minds because they all forget that this happens every single year, so work is absolutely nuts. Doing my thing!
Conclave tonight, I think. Gotta replenish my stores of Diet Cherry Vanilla Coke somehow, especially now that I'm counting calories again, ugh.
8. What New Technologies or Tech Toys Are You Most Excited About?
Man, remember when tech was exciting? It's been a few years! Now it's all just reopening nuclear reactors to power plagiarism engines and ruining the cool shit we already invented. I'm pretty into VR, I guess! But it remains hopelessly niche. Give me INNOVATION. I don't care about ray tracing and remaking games every ten years!!! I guess self-driving cars could be a game changer once they're more reliable? Who knows when that'll be, though, and I'd really just prefer idiot-proof public transportation options, instead.
