[399] woo hoo
Oct. 18th, 2024 08:38 amYesterday's rainy morning gave way to beautiful clear skies today. The moon was SO BRIGHT, along with the stars, despite the strip of dark orange light still sitting on the horizon for a little while longer. A real Truman Show sort of sky.
Spent a good portion of yesterday whittling my many moviegoing options for next week down to eight films, completely overlooking Rumours because I forgot that's what the new Guy Maddin is called, so now I have to start all over again. What a burden.
Noticed that the coworker I liked who moved last week made a little name tag for my poinsettia before he left, which is adorable.
Also made a... friend? As an adult? Weird! I guess it was less making a friend and more having a friend foisted upon me when the receptionist told a customer that she knew to be super into wrestling to come talk to me, but we takes what we can gets. And then it turned out that we used to work next door to each other years ago and I still see his dad all the time, because Fort McMurray.
Mom still sick, but she was dressed for work again this morning despite hiding under the covers, so hopefully on the mend.
