Oct. 8th, 2024 10:26 amMy plane tickets to Calgary have been booked and I have learned what dealership they'll be shipping me off to for a week, so now I'm just waiting to hear back about which hotel they'll be sticking me in. My first ever Work Trip! Weird!
Said work is still annoying me, but I just need to get through today and I'm done for a week! Before having to work ten days in a row because of the trip, yuck, but nevertheless. Money! With all the reckless spending I've been doing of late (YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND, I NEEDED THAT ACTIVATOR WATER BOTTLE) and mom likely being stuck in Edmonton for radiation all next month, it is a thing I very much need right now, so those ten days will be a welcome overtime burden. And then maybe they'll start paying me more when I get back? I'm still unclear on what exactly the endgame for this training is.
