Proper trip reflections to follow then, assuming work isn't ridiculous. That may be a big assumption, but I am choosing to believe.
22. Are We Being Bad Citizens If We Don’t Keep Up With the News?
I don't think so! Civic duties are all well and good, but we mostly don't sign up to live where we live, I think not breaking laws is all that's really expected of people to clear the minimum requirements; anything more than that is above and beyond. So is breaking laws sometimes, too, though. And lots of shitty citizens keep up with the news! It's complicated! Also keep in mind that I do not keep up with the news and am probably a bad citizen anyway, so whatever.
