[355] in this old house, I'm not alone; in a bedroom, a telephone

PHEW. Four loads of laundry, two loads of dishes, floors and walls and shelves and drawers and miscellaneous other things later, and I'm feeling okay about going back to work in the morning. The week was not a waste, even with how much television I watched! Maybe I should try to finish Willow tonight...

Not sure what time mom's coming home, so today is just for enjoying the peace and quiet for however long it lasts. I limited myself to only a couple hours of sleep, since I've been staying up well past sunup every day this week and it's been absolutely wonderful, but I need to turn that around in a HURRY in order to be ready for work, so I will simply have to be a contentedly sleepy bitch for the time being.

The system our entire dealership (as well as thousands of others across North America) runs on has been taken down by a massive global cyberattack, so combined with the Oilers tripping at the finish line after the comeback of the century, I am expecting some pretty horrid vibes to be in the air, but I'm feeling pretty zen about it at the moment. Civilization may be collapsing around me, but I am prepared to rise above it all. At least for a week or so.
