1. Can You Separate Art From the Artist?
Yes and no. Like, I'm perfectly capable of taking in and even enjoying stuff made by complete monsters, but nothing exists in a vacuum, and everything you know about a work of art, good or bad, is always going to inform on the ways you interpret that art. It's a feature, not a bug!
