Tuesday! Yesterday's big night nap had me up until six in the morning, so I'm still all out of whack today, but I've gotten some stuff done around the house and found some new music to dig into, so I'm calling this week off largely a win. One more good run and a bath should put it all to bed nicely, I think. Maybe after an episode of Rome.

That awkward time of year where it's impossible to correctly regulate indoor temperatures drags on. It's snowing outside and I still had to turn the heat off because I woke up completely stifled. Still better than being air conditioned to death all summer, though!

Gotta remember to book May 1st and 2nd off of work, ASAP. I've told my boss I'll need them, but I always forget to actually make it official until the last minute. The Edmonton and Vancouver shows fall on my week off, thankfully, so that should be all the work I'll have to miss for AEW until summer is over. I managed to grab better tickets for the Edmonton show, and my mom was delightfully excited by the news.

21. Is It Harder to Grow Up in the 21st Century Than It Was in the Past?

I feel like there's been a similar question to this fairly recently, so I will probably give a similar answer. Not really? Definitely harder in some ways, way easier in a lot of others, though! Yeah, cell phones are probably messing us up real bad from the get-go, but also we don't have to do things like subsistence farming. The past is really big! Also things remain very different all around the world! Maybe the '70s were way better for some kids in some places, I don't know!
