re: Zoo Feelings
Feb. 1st, 2024 05:37 pmWhat a difference a day makes! I slept well after one last crash, but not excessively, and woke up bright and early yesterday feeling like a million bucks. God I wish I didn't have to have a job, life is simply so much better on the other side.
Wednesday was spent mostly catching up on TV/wrestling, which means today will have to be for more productive pursuits now that my circadian rhythms have re-aligned... eventually. At some point. For now, I shall continue to fuck around. The sun's only just going down! The whole night is my oyster!
The Great January Meltening has continued into February, and it remains... insane. I just can't wrap my head around it. This is the sort of weather I'm supposed to be escaping when I jet off to Ontario next month, not anything that should be happening in the dead of winter! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love it, but it's definitely a bad sign!
13. How Do You Feel About Zoos?
A little conflicted, but only a little. They are fun, and I like seeing animals, and while they probably shouldn't be in there and we, as a species, have historically been pretty bad about treating them well in captivity for a variety of reasons including entertainment, the fact that we're not really treating them very well in the wild either means well-run zoos are going to be increasingly important for conservation purposes, so. I like to look at the animals! :D
Okay, I'm going to finish watching this Stardom show then go for a run and take a nice hot bath and check out what's new on the streamers this month. Bye!
