re: Technological Isolation
Jan. 24th, 2024 10:22 amOog. I'm back at work, running on what could charitably be called a decent nap, and everything's a mess because apparently the other cashier had some sort of meltdown with her boyfriend and had to be sent home yesterday? The brisk (NOT deathly frigid, huzzah) walk to work woke me up a bit, but that was over two hours ago now, and I am... flagging. At least I can have myself a sad little cup of noodles in another... four? Hours? Or so? Oog.
At least I had a really good bath last night, with lots of very hot water. I could have stayed in there forever, and considering how late I stayed up simply NOT sleeping afterward, I kinda wish I did.
6. Does Technology Make Us More Alone?
Oh my god, this is way too heavy a question for right now, I'm so tired. I guess in some ways it does? But makes us less alone in others? Specific examples of technology would bring about different answers, but otherwise that's pretty broad!
