Last day of work! Getting up this morning was a real toughie, but the knowledge that I can get a proper night's sleep tonight and then panic about Christmas properly tomorrow is pushing me through.
Speaking of THE BIG DAY, it is my company's much-ballyhooed ugly Christmas sweater day, and someone even brought a bag of extras so those of us who own none of these markers of tacky mass consumerism swallowing up genuine charming traditions get to participate in the corporate-mandated fun, too! I have been besweatered. It has a koala on it.
Okay, that paragraph was extra grinchy, even for me, so I will also say that one of the porters gave out adorable little Christmas animal figures and keychains to everyone and it was very sweet. I got an owl.
