re: poetry
Oct. 24th, 2023 01:03 pmI've got nothing today. No thoughts between these ears, only podcasts and scanning and ideally going home on the other side. I ordered pizza last night, which I think restored some of my physical vitality (tongue no longer blue, muscles are mad sore but cardio's good, still not sure what's up with the eye bruises), so hopefully a good night's sleep will finish the job tonight.
Lots of movies to see in the coming week, to make up for the dearth this month to date I guess (all I've been interested enough in to head out for has been the Creator and Sawx so far! pathetic!). I'm thinking the Taylor Swift thing tomorrow since my brother's still weirdly gung-ho about it and the trailers at least make it look very visually stimulating even if her music does nothing for me, then Flower Moon on Saturday because it's a million hours long and Talk to Me on Sunday because we FINALLY got it after it completely skipped us in its actual release, then FNAF for Halloween? We'll see how the showtimes shake out, they're taking forever to go up for some reason.
17. Do you like poetry?
Some of it! I've actively been trying to read more of it for a while now, to mixed results. Sometimes it's a slog, and sometimes it's like oh damn, oh okay, oh I am very inspired. Worth it!
Just... seven more hours and then I'm free until November? Seven hours. No problem.
