re: Halloween costumes
Apr. 19th, 2023 01:17 pmAnd then I barely looked at Dreamwidth for like two weeks! Eep! I have officially fallen out of the habit, but I'm back at work, so there's never a better time to get back to it, right? I wonder if I have a good enough memory to pull off a giant media roundup post.
It was a nice week off. Saw a fun movie. Took a few really good baths. I blinked and all the snow was suddenly gone, and then we had several days of beautiful spring weather, so naturally a snowstorm blew in out of nowhere this morning and has yet to let up. Fuck you, nature, I am putting away my winter jacket and you can't stop me!
The power went out for several hours on Monday, which sucked, but I got to catch up on my reading a bit. Then when it came back I kept reading but also started watching Stardom shows from last year because I'm hooked and don't know when the heck they'll have the Cinderella Tournament finals uploaded.
The UPS guy told me that his wife used to be roommates with my mom's ex-husband, which felt like a weird thing for him to even know. I have finally found the Dark Helmet to my Lone Starr. Especially since I had to (politely) refuse delivery, since the people who shipped it told me to on account of there being import charges that should not be there on it that they are still trying to resolve on their end.
The nice thing about everyone having forgotten about Zombies, Run! years ago is that I'm going into season 5 totally unspoiled, ARE THEY REALLY PULLING A FULL SIN CITY DWIGHT HERE???
27. Do you know what you want to dress up as for Halloween?
This was the question for October 27th, but April is actually a much better time to ask me about these things, because I will probably not get around to doing anything unless it's way in advance!
Also I'm off work on Halloween this year, but working November 1st, and putting together a costume just to go to the movies or whatever I'll end up doing does not really feel worth it?
Okay, back to work. And by work, I mean fucking around on Notion until lunch. Yet another sad cup of instant noodles for Leshia, because I am being GOOD and sticking to my guns re: only ordering food once a week until I manage to financially recover from my upcoming summer tour.
