First snowfall of the year! It's very fine, almost more of a hanging ice fog than anything else, but it's only barely below zero and all the frost buildup on the grass was enough for me to have to knock it off of my boots when I got to work, so I'm counting it. Our freaky long (that is, more than a week) and warm autumn has come to an end in time for Halloween, which was always an unrealistic expectation, so I'm not gonna let it get me down. Just means next year's summer is that much closer! I've ordered myself some conciliatory Timmies, and I'm still debating whether or not to go to the stupid work party at Mac Island tonight. I really don't want to, but fucking everyone is bugging me to (though not the people who will have to work Sunday morning with me, I notice), and peer pressure's a bitch even now. We'll see! We'll see. I am... very tired, and just getting off work three hours early to do nothing sounds real nice.
4. What was the last thing you cooked on the stove?
I made noodles the other night. The Buldak ones, with some habanero mango hot sauce slapped on top. It was good. That is the extent of my culinary skills, particularly after twelve hours of work.
5. Have you ever painted/stained a piece of furniture?
That is not something I have ever done, no.
6. Do you prefer reading fiction or non-fiction?
The former! While reading about stuff that has actually happened is certainly worthwhile, and I try to do it a lot, it's definitely not my go-to. Give me the freedom to make things exactly as real as I want them to be in my head, please!
I think today might be a coffee day. Just a little bit. My eyes hurt so bad because I took a bath and did my nails last night on the off-chance I go to the thing tonight but I also had an ORG assignment that took an hour and watched some TV with mom so I didn't finish watching Rampage until like one in the morning? I make bad choices. But they are mine. And also we won our dumb Discord Survivor challenge and Willow Nightingale is finally #AllElite, so there.
