Fight for the Fallen 2022 (2/2)

First clear and sunny day in a hot minute, and I got NO sleep! Feels real bad, but I took a very hot bath last night, and it's Sunday, anyway, and there is no work tomorrow, so it's all good, man! A little bit of month end work, a lot of fucking around in Notion, something tasty for lunch and a few iced creams for dessert, then home for robot show (and the Riverdale finale if I hate myself that much), that's a recipe for a fine day! A fine, sleepy day.

31. Have you ever stayed up late talking to someone you like on the phone or online?

God, those were the days, right? This experience was such a big part of my formative years, but I think social media has killed a lot of the impetus to do this. We're all just online all the time, anyway, so conversations adapt themselves to schedules, rather than the other way around. Or maybe I just got old! Six of one, half dozen of the other? This is actually kinda why I stayed upright too late last night; I was DMing with someone I didn't really know on Discord about some puriteen drama in an Archie server, and I think I ended up making a new friend and it occurred to me as I went to bed that I couldn't remember the last time I had done something like that! What a timely question!
