Winter 2022 - Week 4

The 28h day experiment has begun! So far so good! It's really nice to see the sun go down and not feel like I've wasted the entire day because I'm probably going to still be awake when it comes back up a bajillion hours from now. Makes the night feel full of time and promise.

Maybe the weather warming up again has just improved my mood? I don't know if I'd call it NICE, particularly if you have to drive in it, but it's great for just chilling. I had to physically stick my hand outside to verify that there was freezing rain coming down, because the shards were so tiny, I couldn't actually see them? Just hear a mysterious pattering sound emanating from all over the ground.

Plans for the rest of the night are pretty much relegated to alternating small bursts of physical activity with lounging around and watching wrestling, I can get cracking on Friday house cleaning in the morning.

19. Have you ever baked a pie?

Do meat pies count? We have never been much of a baking family, just the occasional tube of store-bought cookie dough, but Christmas has always been tourtière season, so I have made those in near-bulk quantities.
