Fall Season: Week 8
Oct. 28th, 2019 08:50 pmIt's amazing just how much visibility a blanket of snow adds when I'm walking home in the dark. Last week, when I cut across the field to get home from work, it was basically like walking through a void, just total blackness all around me. Now it's so well-lit I can see my own shadow. Snow!
The tax saga continues, now the bank has no record of any of old accounts and also the CRA copies of my T4s don't have my address on them so I'm back to being screwed. I don't know what to do anymore!
I ordered two pounds of watermelon Jolly Ranchers ONLY, which is pretty great.
That's all I got, I don't think I'm gonna be able to focus on much of anything until this tax thing is sorted out one way or another, so here's an extra-large movie spoiler zone in lieu of actual substance:

The October Cry Count stands at 9, after (1) getting off the phone with the bank, (2) the end of Ever in My Heart SHUT UP IT WAS SO SAPPY BUT GOT A FEW TEARS OUT OF ME AT THE LAST POSSIBLE MINUTE, and (3) John Goodman taking the stage near the end of True Stories, because I had realized about twenty minutes in that I was watching one of my favourite movies for the first time and that's just such a rare, magical feeling?? Then the credits rolled and I was just... so happy.
