Screw it, while I'm here, I may as well write an actual entry.
I think it shall be a numbered entry.
1. This whole thing where the mall is now forcing tenants to stay open for all of the official hours is slowly sapping my will to live, you guys. This mall is 90% doctor's offices which are exempt from the rule, so making us stay open until 9 and on Sundays is just. Ridiculous. It's so dead. And not the nice kind of dead where I can catch up on tags between customers, it's the mind-numbing kind of dead where I just sort of sit in an empty mall and stare at the skylight until my brain starts leaking out my ears. It's so bad. So, so bad.
THAT SAID, my job is still really easy and great, as far as complaints go, this is pretty minor.
2. Our lot rent is going up. Again. This has pretty much become a yearly occurrence, and it long ago passed into utterly fucking ridiculous territory. And since everyone else is pretty much strapped, I'll likely end up having to come up with the difference. We OWN this damn trailer, it's absurd that we should be paying almost $2000 a month just to live here, ugh.
3. Wait, you thought that sudden regular added expenses would curb my spending habits? Oh, you sweet summer child. After the better part of a decade, I caved and finally bought myself an Xbox, it made me happy to do so and I have no regrets. I still need to clean my room up some more before I can hook it up, though.
360. HEY, VIDEO GAME-INCLINED PEOPLE! I am obviously significantly behind the curve here, so what would you say are the games I need to pick up right fucking now to open mine eyes? The essentials to start off with that I've been missing out on for the last few years, you know?
In conclusion:

Any Bethesda game. Fallout 3 and Oblivion or Skyrim or both. Haven't tried New Vegas yet but I am sure that is good, all their games are funtimes if you like that sort of open world thing.
I think you played the Bioware games on the computer, but if not, Dragon Age: Origins and the ME series is funtimes.
If you like co-op games I hear Halo: Reach and Call of Duty whatever number it's on is good. Left 4 Dead 2 is fun for co-op also, let me know if you get it so we can play together.
Ummm.
The Portal series, obviously. If you haven't played them on the computer.
The Batman games.
Annnnnnd Assassin's Creed. I would start with 2, tbh, 1 was okay but I like 2 and all the games tied to 2.
And I probably have more (if you like JRPGs, for example, Tales of Vesperia is a pretty solid one), but I think that's enough of a mix for you to start with. XD

Fallout and Fallout 2 were my jam back in the day, I will be all over that shit. And I played ME and ME2 and DA:O, but I never actually paid for any of them (>_>), so I definitely wouldn't mind having proper copies. It's not really my thing, but truthfully, I will probably check out Call of Duty because of Kevin McKidd-related reasons anyway. And apparently I get a free download of Halo: Reach!
And Portal! I haven't played the second one (or... beat the first one, technically, but who's counting?), do want. And the rest I know nothing about, excellent!

If you're used to the older Fallouts the new one is very different from what I've seen. So just be aware of that, it's still a really fantastic game though. It took me a few times to 'get' Bethesda games, because I am so not used to how open ended it is. I mean, it literally feels like you're dropped in the middle of a world and told to have a good time finding all the random shit they put in it. Honestly just look at it as a giant world to explore and you'll eventually come across things to do. Following just the storyline mission is boring. XD
Haha, if you get ME3 we can play co-op together yeaaaah. I mean the multiplayer isn't great but you can be a krogan when you unlock them and that is the most hilarious thing ever. THEY LAUGH WHEN THEY KILL THINGS.
People might kill me, but I found Portal 2 to be so so so so so far superior to Portal 1. The writing is ACES and the gameplay is fun. AC is action-oriented and yu get to leap around and be awesome so if you like being awesome you will like AC.
Oh and speaking of my icon, if you want a fucking insane game, go find the Katamari game for the 360. I don't even know how to properly explain the game except it involves rolling things up into a ball that slowly gets bigger. People included. Also buildings and giant super heroes and eventually continents. It's more fun than it should be, and well worth a rent at least. >___>

And LOL, I would even say to look it up on youtube at least. It's a fucking weird ass very Japanese game. And yet, again, it is my favorite mindless game to play when I'm bored.

And I'm seconding Left 4 Dead 2.
