[101] Like a phoenix, from the ashes!

My big day off is progressing apace, I'm enjoying myself, even if I decided to skip going to the movies because I somehow always manage to forget how freaking exhausting it is to go out with my family for any length of time. They are just a total energy suck, you guys, I don't even know.

And that means I've inadvertently blown off hanging out with two different guys in as many nights, hah, go team.

IT WAS ALL WORTH IT, THOUGH, because we went to Zellers. Now, our Zellers was kind of a dive for the past twenty years or so, but now that it's going out of business, it has become a cornucopia of delights. And by delights, I mean cheap crap. There was a price tag on the check-out counter! They are selling the check-out counters! Since I don't think they close their doors until August, they're slowly ramping up the savings as the weeks go by and the entire store is only at about 10-30% clearance so far.

With one very notable exception.

The garbage Halloween costumes that didn't sell back in Octobers past.

I had so much fun, you guys. In the end, I walked away with a full adult costume, five wigs, and some fairy wings for 20 bucks. I'm hoping for further hauls of useless goodies once the rest of the prices in the store start coming down more.

Do you think this letter on my head stands for France?

WHAT THE FUCK, NO, HOW CAN ZELLERS BE CLOSING? IT'S SURVIVED SO LONG. IT WAS LIKE THE COCKROACH OF DEPARTMENT STORES.
