Okay, it's been a week and I'm back! Routine, yeah! Mostly, I just spent way too much money going to the movies this week (Spider-Man again tomorrow, woo) and worked. This is probably why I stopped updating on the regular, life is boring when you're an adult. I think a good goal to work towards will be to make an effort to come up with something concrete to write ABOUT every time I update, so I'm not just putting words down to fill up space, but I should save up any writing mojo I possess for my Camp Nanowrimo project. Next month, maybe!
I exercised for two solid months straight (un-fucking my life continues) before accepting the fact that I just really hate it and don't want to keep doing it, so I'm not gonna! A bit of yoga in the morning to wake me up, awesome, anything else just feels like an exhausting time suck and life's too short! Talk to me again in five years when my metabolism's finally given up on me eating like a baby with money, we can reevaluate my priorities then.
Still weighing my options re: pollventures. Not sure what is feasible and what the best platform would be, but I really love those dumb old gamebooks.
Amazon Prime Day punched me in the wallet, but I got some stuff that may turn into my mother's Christmas gift, so that's something. Also, the growth of the all-encompassing Amazon machine is so freaky and dystopian that I get the heebie jeebies whenever I see all the stuff you can get under the Amazon Basics banner, and then I go ahead and order some more. Why does dystopia have to work so dang well?
Set up my new XBone, immediately started a new ME trilogy playthrough. Current gen, I am doing it wrong.
Spider-Man was good, I will talk about that if people would like.
Okay bye!

There were, like, seven other posts on my timeline this week, and that was a busy week! And since I'm not in RP anymore, I feel like my circle can only dwindle, disconnected as I am from any new blood in the DW friend group!
maybe if i just make a separate journal for it and people can follow at will
BUT STILL NO ACTUAL POLLS WITHOUT PAID TIME

And the ME playthrough, because I'm just finishing up mine.

As for Mass Effect, it's just gonna be a straight renegade run while I try my hand at the 'clear the game on X difficulty' achievements, the only ones I have yet to complete because I generally like being casual scum. XD

Michael Keaton was definitely channeling his Batman vibe in that car scene!
I thought Tom Holland did great. This was the first Spidey movie where I really identified with the Spidey and Peter characters like I did when I was a kid. This movie definitely made me feel nostalgic for Spider-Man in a way the other two didn't.
And yes! The reaction of Vulture being Liz's father was so awesome! I thought that was a really great touch.
I play every game on pretty much the most casual setting. I'm there for the story, mostly ME is basically a $60 book that sometimes lets me shoot people.
