I REALLY LIKED IT A LOT! I thought Vulture was such a great villain, with a great background and motivations that we haven't seen before in these movies, the car scene is one of Michael Keaton's all-time greats. I'm still super over super-young Spidey and want desperately to move on, but it was all still great in spite of that, and it does, admittedly, nicely set him apart in the MCU in ways it didn't when he was off in his own franchise. I feel for the people who don't dig Spidey in a high-tech Stark suit, but I've never been a big enough Spider-Man fan to be one of them, I am not a purist, it was fun. The one thing I'm still not sure I dig is the whole 'having one character but calling them another' thing they pulled with Michelle/MJ and Ganke/Ned, was not feeling that. Ned was great! But he wasn't Ned, he was Ganke! Just call him Ganke! Flash was different from comic Flash, but he wasn't recognizably another existing character, so he was great with no asterisks! Oh, and the Vulture-as-Liz's-father reveal was ACES and set up real nicely in subtle ways that you only catch on the rewatch, and the audience reaction was GOLD. Also, it says so much about the depth of Spider-Man's rogues gallery that they haven't reused a villain yet across three fucking franchises, and this one threw in SIX, including my smol scorpion son, I would die for him, the end.
As for Mass Effect, it's just gonna be a straight renegade run while I try my hand at the 'clear the game on X difficulty' achievements, the only ones I have yet to complete because I generally like being casual scum. XD
