Today was certainly a day. People died, and I continue to weigh my RP options, but Model Hot Co-Worker gave me a pair of super-cute boots and I've still got five episodes of Jessica Jones to watch, so you know what? I'mma call things a solid wash. Still don't know where this spaghetti sauce came from. Poll time!
Perhaps, you think, you can reach the bridge by swimming down the river - or maybe you will find a trail you can take east. It is a long way down, so you prepare for it carefully.
It is a long way down, and you jump as carefully as you can. You throw your boots and your pack down first; then you dive. To your horror, you find that the water is shallow and the bottom is muddy. You are stuck! You manage to struggle free, but when you reach the surface you see the open jaws of a Crocodile, ready to take you in. You grab your sword, but it's too late: the jaws are the last thing you see. Your adventure is over.
Oh, never mind.
