So I lost my mind and bought a new TV even though I really, really can't afford it right now because I'm dumb and poor and still don't actually regret anything. Hopefully, if I stop eating out for the next month and a half, I can make up the money I blew in time for my vacation, otherwise I'm slightly boned. But boned with a new TV!
Okay, time for our first fight with slightly tweaked battle rules than the ones I'm used to. Either way, we've got it pretty well in hand.
Gripping your knife tightly, you crouch down, waiting for the thug to make his move. Suddenly he screams and leaps at you.
THUG (Skill 7, Stamina 10)
Use the Hand Fighting rules to resolve this combat. Both your knife and the thug's crowbar reduce STAMINA by 2 points.
You stagger back from the thug as he slumps to the floor; just then the girl starts up the engine of the hot-rod. In a cloud of burning rubber she screeches up the road on to the highway and is gone.
