[158] The life that late I led...
A nice night. It's warm, but mostly pleasant for once, even if the surrounding countryside is apparently ablaze because hoo-BOY is it smoky out there.
Had to write a letter of resignation in order to get my one month of pension money that is only a thing because my fucking boss jerked me around for that long, making me think there was some hope of my sticking around without her continuing to treat me like shit, which is why I'm not going to bother to rewrite it when it came out ridiculously passive-aggressive. I already went down in a blaze of unprofessional glory, I might as well nail the follow-through. Had a lovely conversation with one of my old co-workers when I stopped to pick up the puzzle books, though, where she pretty much told me that all of them were super upset over what happened and were 100% behind me, stunned that all this went down over a weekend that they would have been more than happy to cover for me. I may have gotten a little emotional~ Definitely going to try not to be a stranger with that bunch, even if I don't get down to the mall very often.
In today's adventures at my NEW job, Dwayne set himself on fire and I think one of the lube technicians might have a thing for me.
I've got this weird urge to reorganize my shelves some, but I think that might be my chronic procrastination kicking in, since I have a whole bunch of little, boring things to get done. Time for a to-do list, methinks.
That should do for now. I must have sounded really whiny on the phone when I asked him when I worked next, because Tony said I could have tomorrow off if I come in Saturday, so I should be able to get most of that taken care of tonight and tomorrow.
Also, I really want more RP threads even though I leave in a week because I suddenly have all this mojo and also am an idiot.

Change the cat litter.- Laundry, so I will have clean clothes to pack in a week.
- Sort through my closet, so I will have appropriate clothes to pack in a week.
Drop off resignation letter downtown.Get my banking information so I can actually get paid in time for my vacation, since apparently cutoff for this pay period is Tuesday, yikes.Look into hotel reservations for San Francisco.- Put additional money on my credit card so none of my many ongoing online payments bounce while I'm away.

Even in context that sounds like it's taken out of context.

From this point forward I dub him "Merr's lube technician".
