[147] Rogue storm!

Holy shit, it just starting pouring rain as I got home. Bullet: dodged.

First things first, I've got a round of week-old tags coming down the pipe in a few minutes, standard 'just ignore them if they're too old' disclaimer applies. I'm so all over the place, agh. Anyway, after a mind-numbing (though blissfully short) day at work, I am putting together a multi-part list of shit to get done in the near future. My sanity demands it.


TRIP STUFF

• Book my last two plane tickets already, jeez!


• Figure out what I'm doing post-SDCC, as that's the only blank spot that remains in my schedule. I've determined that I'll be flying out of San Francisco on the 27th, but my family doesn't get there until the 25th, so I either need to find a way there from San Diego/somewhere to stay/things to do (the fun option!) or I'll just derp around San Diego with my family for a few days and hitch a ride with them (the far less appealing option). I'm so bad at planning stuff on my own, though, HELP ME.


• Get a new phone! This could probably go under Life Stuff, but I specifically want it before I leave this summer, because my phone is a busted piece of crap and I will not survive three weeks with it as my only lifeline.


• Order a US roaming package for July while I'm at it, obvs.

LIFE STUFF

• Keep resisting the urge to buy a new computer. The one I have is a few years old now, but it still works well enough for my purposes. I just get this way whenever I have a bit of money saved up. Shut it down.


• Continue evaluating the urge to buy a new TV. This urge has been around for much longer than the computer one, and I'm sick of only being able to watch Blu-rays on my computer. No impulse buys on something that big, though.


• Keep cleaning! My room is in better shape than it's been in years, it's glorious, but there are still a few things left to do:
  
  • The entire mess is now contained to the closet, but it can't stay there forever. I have a box o' guns to move, drawers to purchase, comics to bag and board, and a lot of general clutter to sort through. I'll start on that once my aunts head back home to Edmonton.
  
  
  • Find some kind of set of small cubbies to put under the movable half of my new computer desk. I want absolutely no wasted space if my entire life is to remain compressed into one small bedroom for the foreseeable future.
  
  
  • Organize the area around my TV, especially if I'm going to be getting a new one. Right now it's just a tangled mess of machines and wires.
  
  
  • Re-do my walls! I have a lot of stuff I want to put on them (some of it warranting framing), and blank wall space just chafes at me, so I've got to rearrange all my posters. The wallpaper of a perpetual teenager? Possibly, but I don't care. It'll be a scream.
  
  
  • That's it! SO WEIRD.

RP STUFF

• Finish writing Wanda's timeloop. I decided on a whim that I want to do it for her fifth islandversary, which is in... four days now, so I need to... do that.


• Put up a post for her to get Council signatures, since she got nominated again. ETA: Done! Sign if your character would!


• Go through my characters' tags/journals and try to find all the private threads from the last year or so that never got linked, since I know there are a few, and it's bugging me all of a sudden. I'm so bad for forgetting.


• All the late tags/tag-ins, as usual. Sigh.

I know I'm forgetting plenty of things, but I have a lapful of cat and needy aunts to feed, and this seems like a pretty good list of things to start with, anyway. Polls to resume tomorrow, aaaaaaaaand break!
