Lazy, lazy day. My sleep last night was all screwed up, though, even without taking the time change into account, so I'm going to chalk it up to that and forget about it. I have one more day off to get my schedule back in order, I'll have to set an alarm tomorrow or something. Until then, I have posts to write and Sunday night TV to watch, woo!
You increase speed towards a dull blue planet and start to orbit it. Short-range scanners indicate that it is a life-bearing planet. The most heavily populated area appears to be a city in the centre of a large island.
Okay, here's the deal. Whenever you beam down onto a planet, you get to bring an away team with you. You can pick three officers or guards, each with their own strengths, to wit: the Science Officer is a problem-solver, your Medical Officer can patch you up, your Engineering Officer knows shit about machinery and geology, and your Security Officer and Guards are the muscle. I'm not sure what kind of format to use for choosing who you'll bring along each time, but we can fiddle around with it until something works.
