[510] are we unique, are we something utterly special in the universe?

Work is still very busy, but I'm 37 today, and that's pretty neat I guess!! I have some balloons and flowers, and I have eaten two pieces of work cake ahead of dinner out with the family tonight. I should figure out where I want to go!

Movie theatre still closed. Mental health still suffering about it. I hope they re-open in time to get The Bone Temple. And that that isn't one of those hopes I look back on in future months like 'lol you had no idea'.

New couch is getting delivered on Thursday, so hopefully the guy Mom talked to take away our old one shows up tomorrow, otherwise me and my brother will be chucking it into the snow-filled backyard like proper white trash.

Weather is insane. From -35 to 10 degrees in a couple of days. Everything in the streets is melting and freezing again overnight, it's a nearly unnavigable jagged hellscape of ice and slush out there. But at least it's warm I guess???

Wikipedia Sez: Snivilisation is the third studio album by the British electronic music duo Orbital. It was released on 8 August 1994 through FFRR Records. The album peaked at number 4 on the UK Albums Chart, and had sold over 80,000 copies in the United Kingdom by April 1996.

Genre: Electronic

Styles: Ambient, Ambient Techno, Club/Dance, Electronica, Techno

Release Date: August 8th, 1994

Prior Familiarity: None.

What I Did While Listening: Journaled and got ready for bed.

Verdict: Didn't hit as hard as their previous album did, but there's a very wide variety of sound happening hear and my ears never got bored in spite of the length. Why is it called that, though? And what the fuck is that album cover?

Favourite Song: Crash and Carry, with an honourable mention to the crunchy crawling sounds between Forever and I Wish I Had Duck Feet that made my mouth tingle for some reason??? That was weird.

Leshia's Rating: ⭐⭐⭐

I think I want pasta.
