re: Picky Eating

Peak sleepy bitch hours here. Just one more horrible morning and then I get to rest again, though!

The sun was fully sitting above the horizon on my way home from work last night and it buoyed my spirits so much that I really started trying to figure out just when winters starting wearing so heavily on my soul, because they never used to! For the longest time! And until now I've just chalked it nebulously up to getting older, like 'SAD sufferer' was just another weird thing I randomly became in my thirties, like 'homeowner' and 'runner' and 'professional wrestling fan', but I think it might actually just date back to the start of COVID and my switch to 12-hour shifts and being horribly sleep-deprived for a full 50% of my life. That's probably it, actually! I need either sleep or sunshine to function well, losing both at the same time is simply tooooooo muuuuuuuuch.

Just a few more hours and then I'm going to go home, open a pack of Pokemon cards, make some noodles, watch an episode of Twin Peaks, and hope that will provide the psychic armour I will need to finish the week strong.

30. Are You Now, or Have You Ever Been, a Picky Eater?

Yes and no? I have my basic bitch things that I like and I will eat all day, every day, forever without getting sick of and never straying. But I'll also at least try anything if I'm put in a position where I must. But also I just won't like a lot of those things I try! But I'll tough it out if I have to? I think kimchi's the only thing I've found that I straight up cannot eat.

Honestly, though, you're my most compatible travel buddy when it comes to food since you're fine just going to a grocery store. UNPICKY IN MY BOOK.
