[450] kabhii diivaar hiltii hai, kabhii dar kaanp jaataa hai
I'm thinking this is going to be one of those weeks off that just completely slips me by, yesterday was a total wash and I keep taking these long afternoon naps. Tomorrow I'll be visiting my grandmother and going to see The Brutalist, so that's like eighteen hours right there. Ah, well! Gonna try to get some laundry done before I crash at four in the morning tonight and maybe that'll help me feel more accomplished. And I did manage to watch a whole bunch of lucha libre today, so that's nice. March tomorrow! What even!

Wikipedia Sez: Doesn't have a page! But here's what they say about the man himself:
Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan PP (Punjabi: نصرت فتح علی خاں, pronounced [nʊsˈɾət ˈfəte(ɦ) əliː ˈxãː]; born Pervez Fateh Ali Khan; 13 October 1948 – 16 August 1997), also known by his initials NFAK, was a Pakistani singer, songwriter, and music director. Ustad was primarily a singer of qawwali, a form of Sufi devotional music. Often referred to as the "Shahenshah-e-Qawwali" (the King of Kings of Qawwali), he has been recognized as one of the 50 Great Voices by NPR and 200 Greatest Singers of All Time by Rolling Stone. The New York Times named Khan the greatest qawwali singer of his generation. Credited with introducing Qawwali music to international audiences, he was known for his vocal abilities and could perform at a high level of intensity for several hours.
Genre: International
Styles: Indian Subcontinent Traditions, Qawwali, Worldbeat
Release Date: October 26th, 1992
Prior Familiarity: lol no
What I Did While Listening: A little bit of everything! Seeing as this particular artist's oeuvre seems very... scattered online and difficult to find in any sort of coherent order with reliable tracklists, I actually ended up listening to Love & Devotion, which I think is a compilation album that consists of this one and Love Songs and maybe a couple other tracks? Yeesh.
Verdict: It's actually pretty cool, but I did not get anything out of listening to ninety minutes of it that I did not get from any single eight-minute song.
Favourite Song: Ali Maula Ali Maula Ali Dam Dam lowkey an earworm, actually.
