re: Work from Home
Rough morning. I have a lot of work to do, and I simply don't want to. Also I forgot to ask a manager if I could leave early today, which I will need to do to make it to a movie tonight, so we'll see if I can sweet-talk the service advisors who will bear the brunt of it I guess? But Heart Eyes was a lot of fun regardless, and the horrible giant windrows from yesterday morning gave way to a miracle by the end of the day.
Not only were the roads very well-plowed, but so were the sidewalks. And not JUST the sidewalks, but the bit between the roads and the sidewalks, so there wasn't a giant three-foot (height AND width) wall of snow that you have to find a break in and/or awkwardly clamber over before you can cross the street. Just beautiful, flat, snowy surface as far as the eye can see! They even plowed a walkway into the other side of the street, where there actually IS none extant, so I could freely walk around over there, too, even before the brief bit after the bus stop where actual paving starts! Easily the best walk home from work in months, even if it was -35 again this morning, so still pretty miserable. They've literally never done this before, and if ever I find out who was behind this particular plowing initiative to make the winter roads somewhat navigable for pedestrians as well for a change, I'm going to kiss them right on the mouth.
Right on the mouth!!!
9/14 walks down.
13. Would You Rather Work From Home or in an Office?
I would kill a man to work from home.
