Cold and tired, both in body and brain. But it's the weekend, so I can take a slightly more leisurely approach to things for a couple of days, at least, though I'll keep picking at warranty stuff. 7/14 walks to/from work done, even if today's took twice as long because I had to go around and over the four-foot windrows of hard, dirty snow running down the entire centre of the road because FUCK pedestrians when it's -30 out I guess!!!

The slight lightening of the sky in the distance on my way to work has risen to include a little pop of red! It's still not quite a sunrise or anything so grand, but it's getting there!

I was saved from the shitty Chris Jericho movie because it's not on Canadian Shudder even though it was filmed in Edmonton, lol get the fuck outta here. Watched Arcadian instead. Clackclackclack.

Heart Eyes tonight. Love Hurts tomorrow. Tim Hortons on the way. I can do this.

12. Do You Need to De-Clutter Your Life?

Yes and no? I need to sort a lot of the existing clutter, but if anything, I want more of it.

That movie would have been instantly forgettable if not for the creature designs, which were so good I think I love it??? The way it never really lets you get a handle on them (partially because of the terrible camera) so you're always just like 'wait, what do they look like? what the fuck did that one just do??? what am I even looking at!!' without actually hiding them at all just ruled so hard.

Yeah it’s unfortunate they were in such a bland movie, because they were some of the most bizarrely unsettling things I’ve seen in a while and really unlike anything else I can think of. MORE WEIRD WTF MONSTERS PLEASE.

Everything about them just seems like it was designed with the thought 'idk what's scary? sure, throw it in, we'll figure out in CGI' so it's wild that the movie around it was SO conventional. They're like monsters you'd see in an actual nightmare, just WEIRD in their creep factor!
