2025. We made it. Let's go. I am very excited to spend the entire first week of the new year not working, so thank you to... the calendar? Thank you, the calendar. Today was spent hanging out with my family and working out what I want my priorities to be with a clean slate, however imaginary. There's not much out there to really look forward to at the moment, so I'll be happy to take the good stuff where I can find it.
Goals for tonight: Go for a run. Take a bath. Do my nails. Watch Dynamite.
Goals for this week: Finish tricking out my journal for the year. Write something. Don't overeat. Catch up on my stories.
Goals for this month: Exercise regularly. Clean the house while mom's in Edmonton.
Goals for this year: Lose twenty pounds. Get a passport again for... reasons. Watch more movies.
It's very cold outside. Goals subject to change.

Wikipedia Sez: London Calling is the third studio album by the English rock band the Clash. It was originally released as a double album in the United Kingdom on 14 December 1979 by CBS Records, and in the United States in January 1980 by Epic Records. The Clash recorded the album with producer Guy Stevens at Wessex Sound Studios in London over a five- to six-week period starting in August 1979, following a change in management and a period of writer's block for songwriters Joe Strummer and Mick Jones. Bridging a traditional punk rock sound and a new wave aesthetic, London Calling reflects the band's growing interest in styles beyond their punk roots, including reggae, rockabilly, ska, New Orleans R&B, pop, lounge jazz, and hard rock. Lyrical themes include social displacement, unemployment, racial conflict, drug use, and the responsibilities of adulthood.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: British Punk, Hard Rock, Punk, Punk/New Wave, Rock & Roll, New Wave
Release Date: December 14th, 1979
Prior Familiarity: Pretty good. I went through a bit of a Joe Strummer phase when I was young.
What I Did While Listening: Tidied up my phone. Danced it out.
Verdict: It's a joy. A perfect album to start the year with, 10/10, no notes.
Favourite Song: Death or Glory
