[421] is this really the end of the world?

Monday mystery movie has soothed my bad mood. It was September 5, a pretty solid little journalism drama, even if remaining apolitical about anything that involves the Israel/Palestine conflict in this day and age is, in itself, a political choice, especially when it's such a one-sided story being told. Food for thought! Good movie!

Mom's appointments are all rebooked for next month, and she's taking the Jeep in tomorrow. Whether we will be able to actually afford the necessary repairs is a problem for then!

Chipping nicely away at my to-do list. Hopefully none of it will as thoroughly destroy my legs as clearing out my bathroom shelves yesterday did. Turns out doing what amounts to two hours of squats can take its toll when you're not prepared for it! Gotta clear the decks for my work week.

Wikipedia Sez: Bad Company is the debut studio album by Bad Company, a 1970s English hard rock supergroup. The album was recorded at Headley Grange with Ronnie Lane's Mobile Studio in November 1973, and it was the first album released on Led Zeppelin's Swan Song Records label.

Genre: Pop/Rock

Styles: Album Rock, Arena Rock, Blues-Rock, Hard Rock

Release Date: May 24th, 1974 (the day Dash Mihok was born HEY BRAIN WHY DO YOU STILL HAVE THAT INFORMATION ON HAND LIKE THAT)

Prior Familiarity: Pretty high.

What I Did While Listening: Put away a bit of laundry, brushed my teeth, washed my face, and then put on some pore strips that I found while I was cleaning out the bathroom yesterday, just for fun.

Verdict: Having a titular song on a self-titled album is such a fun choice. Anyway, it's a lot less butt-rocky on the whole than I was expecting, but it's also very short and doesn't leave much of an impression beyond 'chill vibes, kinda moody.'

Favourite Song: Seagull
