[412] live on coffee and flowers, try not to wonder what the weather will be
The flesh was willing! Spent several hours last night just running around and finally putting up a whole lot of art and shelves that have been sitting around for literal years now, just waiting for me to get my shit together. Feels good! I am very sore, though, and would like to take a bath, and since we're going to see Moana 2 when my mom and brother get off work, I will have to do so immediately, so... bye!

Wikipedia Sez: High Violet is the fifth studio album by The National, which was released on May 10, 2010, in Europe and on May 11, 2010, in North America via 4AD. The band produced the album themselves, assisted by Peter Katis with whom they worked on their previous albums Alligator and Boxer at their own studio in Brooklyn, New York, and at Katis' Tarquin Studios in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The sculpture on the album cover was created by artist Mark Fox, and is called The Binding Force.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: Alternative Country-Rock, Chamber Pop, Indie Rock, Sadcore, Alternative/Indie Rock
Release Date: May 11th, 2010
Prior Familiarity: Pretty low! The National is one of those bands I always forget exists until Slow Show comes up on shuffle and then it's like oh, right, damn.
What I Did While Listening: Changed my bedsheets and set up my Notion spread for the coming work week.
Verdict: God, they're so fucking pretentious (complimentary). Yeah, this is some prime playlist fodder all up in here.
Favourite Song: Anyone's Ghost
Leshia's Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐, and maybe a five in the right mood.
