Slept for twelve hours. Needed it. Started the new season of Lower Decks, goddamn I'm going to miss this show.
Brought the air purifier I won at the Christmas party home from work last night, and dang, it is WAY bigger than the little picture they gave me made it look! My air's gonna be so fuckin' pure.
I'm going to be so pure.

Wikipedia Sez: Melodrama is the second studio album by New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde. It was released on 16 June 2017 by Lava and Republic Records and distributed through Universal. Following the breakthrough success of her debut album Pure Heroine (2013), Lorde retreated from the spotlight, and travelled between New Zealand and the United States. Initially inspired by her disillusionment with fame, she wrote Melodrama to capture heartbreak and solitude after her first breakup.
Genre: Pop/Rock
Styles: Pop, Adult Alternative Pop/Rock, Alternative/Indie Pop
Release Date: June 16th, 2017
Prior Familiarity: Shockingly low.
What I Did While Listening: Tidied up. Continued experimenting with thermostat settings that don't turn my bedroom into the surface of the sun for some reason. Danced a bit.
Verdict: It's good! It's... one of those ones where I'm not exactly clear on why it's on a list like this and feel like they're just reaching for good recent albums to put on there out of obligation, but also maybe I just need to spend some more time with it because it is quite good! Just some good-ass, modern electropop, moody (the title warns you in advance!) but upbeat, very much in my lane.
Favourite Song: Green Light, of which Wikipedia is telling me there is a Chromeo remix, which I must seek out immediately.
Leshia's Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Okay, treadmill time and then the go-home Dynamite, bye bye!
